Trusted Solo Practitioner with a Special Focus on Family Law

Welcome. I am Kathleen Cook, and I have over fourteen years of experience in the practice of law. Although I began my career as a trial attorney in a downtown Jackson law firm, after a number of years, I developed a broad array of general practice experience in addition to the firm's usual areas of focus (products liability, premises liability, and insurance defense).

I have sought to develop a solo practice centered around the basic needs of families. Family law is an area of law that touches the lives and welfare of people more closely than any other area of law. My firm handles most, if not all, of the types of litigation that would fall under the heading of Family Law in addition to other areas of general practice.
